Biography
Born in 1980 in Kagurazaka, Tokyo. He grew up with an architect father and a sister who is a potter.
At the young age of 15, he worked in the kitchen of a western restaurant and his culinary passion was awakened.
In 2001, he moved to Miyakojima, Okinawa and returned to Tokyo in 2003 where he was then trained in a Ginza Italian restaurant.
In 2005, he returned to Okinawa and opened his own cafe on a remote island.
Business experience: 20 years (as of Jan 2020)
Then he joined the Okinawa Nawamiya Furushima Resort Hotel in 2008 and was part of a team to launch four new restaurants.
In 2010, he was assigned to Stockholm, as a chef to the Ambassador of Japan Embassy in Sweden.
After retiring from the embassy in 2013, he started his training in a 1-star and a 2-star Michelin restaurant in Sweden.
2014 was the year he moved to Singapore to work in a Japanese restaurant.
Thereafter, he helped start up a modern European restaurant, 999.99 in 2015.
And joined a Japanese Italian restaurant, Caffe B in 2017 as a chief advisor.
In 2019, he was appointed Yamagata Prefecture, Higashine City Ambassador.
