It has been 30 years since participating in design.
I believe that there is no boundary among product, graphic, architecture and interior design. Fashion, sculpture, painting, music and all the beautiful arts bring myself much inspiration. Collaboration with TPOD and other artists will take a different style from atelier ikebuchi, creating a design with narrative.

Biography
He was born in Osaka in 1965. After obtaining a degree in architecture in Osaka, he moved to Singapore. With several years of extensive experience in interior design work, he started his own practice in Singapore and Osaka in 1996, where he was also a design consultant for a Japanese lighting company. After setting up the current company, atelier ikebuchi in 2004, he has also participated in numbers of international competitions for his design work and received international awards, such as Diamond International Awards by De Beers, Design Award by Saporiti Italia, President’s Design Award Singapore. His projects range from luxury residences, hotels, offices, boutiques, to product design, such as furniture and lighting.
