I remember when I was a teenager, the following words of Albert Einstein caught my mind; “What is right is not always popular, what is popular is not always right.”
In this day and age, data and information have been overflown in the world and people’s sense of values has rapidly changed differently everyday due to Coronavirus situation. The current situation also made me aware how important it is for each one of us to carefully choose relevant information and see things for what they really are to take the right action. However, how difficult the situation is, I believe that a little happiness, joy and things to warm up people’s heart actually arise from connection and relationship between person and person.
I have greatly sympathized with the management policy of TPOD such as seeking ways to create better works and design as their challenge based on the ideas of valuing such connection and relationship with other people. I appreciate every opportunity to meet people through work at TPOD and hope to contribute to clients and related people looking ahead to the future while always giving consideration to their feelings and expectations.
While drawing this piece, I was talking to my younger daughter that her sister used to put some makeup on her face when she was little.
She asked me with a serious look, "Have your legs got shorter?"
Rainy Night
To my friend who loves dogs, mountain hiking, martial arts, playing the trumpet, and reading books when it's raining, with my respect for his overcoming a lot of difficulties in his life.
Hoping to his dream will come true.
Kimono Girl
A portrait of my younger daughter when she was five.
She used to love pink and girl's stuff a lot then but not anymore.
She even refuses to wear a skirt.
She'll probably never wear anything girly like this.
