Nanzenji Temple and Konkai-komyoji Temple were my favorite play ground when I was a child. It was my ordinary daily life as there are not many public parks and fields in Kyoto. Looking back those days, what I am trying to create might be the scenes of my old days. In my memory, the sunshine created strong contrasted shadow in the temples’ garden and the deep green mountains were viewed when resting under the temple gate in the end of the day.

Collaborating with TPOD, I am looking forward to encountering the design for the contemporary Japanese architecture, featured by technology and material, which remind many people of freshness and nostalgia in their memory.
