We visited the opening of SETSU Niseko, one of hotels in Niseko that we had been involved in with its interior design and art curation. The hotel is located in a great location, right under the HIRAFU ski resort with fantastic view of Mt. Yotei. I hope that everyone will come round and enjoy their moment there.
The building of the hotel was designed by Mr. Mok Wei Wei, W Architects and the lobby of the hotel was designed by TPOD. I was the over-all producer and both Mr. Furuhata, FULL POWER STUDIO and I were in charge of the concept design. Interior design by Mr. Ikebuchi, Atelier Ikebuchi, lighting design by Mr. Fujii, Nipek, art curation by Mr. Schwartz, POCKO. And even more craftsmen devoted their good skills and experiences to the project.
We asked Mr. Nawa Kohei and Mr. Sugihara Nobuyuki to create artworks for the lobby. Their elegant and powerful works match with Mr. Ikebuchi’s interior design to create unique space.
